#Posterous say hello to #Drupal

I have been a Posterous user for a little bit now, it started as any other foray into a new web product with the mind frame of "Hey let me see what this is all about". Well, for some reason I liked it. It reminds me alot of Tumblr but managed to hold my attention for a longer period of time. I am really not sure why.

One feature that caught my attention recently was the ability to autopost to a Drupal blog. I quickly enabled the blog API and blog module at nickgs.com and connected the two. The first thing I noticed was the fact that although Posterous communicates correctly with the Drupal blog API, Drupal does not default the input format of the blog content type to 'Full HTML'. I found a handy module on drupal.org called 'better_formats' to take care of this issue. This module enables us to define the default input type for any content type by user role. Say that three times fast!

So why do you like Posterous over the other services on the net?
